Civitaluparella, Abruzzo. Bungalow, historic, stone town house, in habitable condition, 2 beds, amazing mountain views, with cellar, 30 mins to skiing. This street level, single floor town house, is an easy starter home, with no works on the house which are necessary with mains gas central heating. The property seems solid and dry. Located in the center of the village, in the old part, with a couple of coffee shops and basic shops, it is 30 minutes to the skiing resorts, 40 minutes to the beach, 70 minutes to Pescara Airport and 4 hours to Rome. The house has a council owned courtyard in front of the house, for a table and a couple of chairs, and a spectacular balcony at the back. The fron door opens into a corridor accessing a lounge / diner with fireplace and balcony, the kitchen and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. There is a trap door in the single bedroom to access down into the cellar. This space is of little use except storage. The house has mains gas central heating, water and electricity and is connected to the sewage.
Civitella Messer Raimondo, Abruzzo. Detached, country, stone cottage in a panoramic position with barn, olive grove, garage, cellars, outbuildings and recently renovated. This detached cottage is comprised of 71sqm of habitable space (2 bedroom first floor apartment), 2 cellars under the main house of 20sqm each, a garage of 30sqm and a barn of 50sqm. There is also 1310 sqm of fairly flat garden, of which most of it is covered by 12 olive trees. The property is located in a peaceful a quite location deep in the Abruzzo countryside, and close to various families who live there all year round and create a warm and welcoming environment. The property is 3km to a river for rafting, 5km to lake Casoli for fishing, 11km to the beautiful town of Casoli, 45 minutes to Lanciano, 40 minutes to the beach, 75 minutes to Pescara airport and 4 hours drive to Rome. The house has been partially and recently renovated with some modernising to do. The house seems dry and solid. It is connected to water, electricity and sewage. You can expand the property by adding a studio flat on the ground floor (connecting the 2 cellars), converting the barn and converting the outbuildings. You may wish to create a more convenient access to the balcony and roof terrace for breathtaking views.
Lanciano, Abruzzo. Historic country house with stone walls and garden and garage, original tiles from the 50s and seems solid and dry. Located in the outskirts of the city of Lanciano, 5km away in a hamlet called Sant Iorio, and 17km to the beach, an hours drive to Pescara Airport and 3 hours to Rome, this property is for a lover of history and yet wants to be close to utilities. The house is in a very quiet location, and built on 2 floors with an attic and a front garden including a nicely built garage. The ground floor of the property has a spacious kitchen and separate lounge with cellar and up internal stairs, there are 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. Some of the floors have tiles from the 50s and the house shows no signs of damp or cracks. Via internal wooden stairs there is access to the attic that could be converted into more rooms or a sun terrace. The garden is 100sqm on which where is a well built garage. There is a shared courtyard around the property. The house is connected to water, sewage, electricity and easily connected to mains gas. Most of the furniture is included.
Lanciano, Abruzzo. Historic town house, to modernise in the medieval center of a vibrant city with central heating and furniture. Located in the center of this historic city, in one of the oldest quarters, you find yourself just 200 meters from the bustling center with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. The house is made out of original brick and dates back 100 years. The house has a ground floor with a kitchen lounge, and store room. There is a new boiler, mains gas connection, nicely presented kitchen and small cupboard. The seller is including the furniture in the sale. Up an internal marble staircase, to the bedroom with cupboard and ensuite bathroom with shower. The house has a leak in the roof so roof repairs are required. The house is around 40sqm and full of character. Connected to water, electricity, mains gas and sewage.
Civitaluparella, Abruzzo. Historic, stone, town house, in habitable condition, on 2 floors, 30 mins to skiing with shared terrace. The property has car access with easy parking, and 10 steps from the lower street to the front door for convenience. A two floor town house, the lower 2 floors owned by another person, is an easy starter home, with few works on the house necessary vaulted ceilings and stone structure. Located in the center of the village, in the old part, with a couple of coffee shops and basic shops, it is 30 minutes to the skiing resorts, 40 minutes to the beach, 70 minutes to Pescara Airport and 4 hours to Rome. I would consider changing the iron spiral staircase to the bedroom, at a cost of Euro 7,000 for a bespoke spiral staircase. In front of the property there is a 5sqm terrace owned by the local council, in nice condition, which you could utilise for a table and chairs. The house has mains water and electricity and is connected to the sewage.
Bomba, Abruzzo. Lake view town house, finished, 3 bedrooms, garden, shed, cellar, and easy parking in a peaceful location. Up internal stairs to a double bedroom and then up internal stairs to 2 more bedrooms, one with a balcony and a bathroom. The property seems solid and dry. Under the house there is a cellar. In front of the house, across a very quiet road, there is 100sqm of flat garden with a shed on top offering a rustic kitchen with a third basic bathroom. Located close to the village of Bomba, 4km to a public outdoor swimming pool 6km to the lake, the property has open and amazing mountain views including the lake. The house has mains water and electricity and is connected to the sewage and can be easily connected to mains gas.
Perano, Abruzzo. Renovated, 2 bed stone town house 100 years old in the old part of town with bars restaurants and shops 20 minutes to the beach. This property has a maiella stone structure and the property has already been renovated, with no signs of damp, cracks or roof leaks, and walking distance to the old part of town, with those typical Italian alleys, small boutiques and bars to sit and watch people as they walk by. The house has three floors, the ground floor offering a kitchen diner with basic bathroom, up internal stairs to the first bedroom and internal stairs to the main bedroom with bathroom, and 2 balconies. You do not need to walk through the first floor bedroom to access the second floor. The house has stone external walls which are presently plastered but this could be removed to reveal the old stone. The house is located 20 minutes to the beach, the Trabocco Coast line, 30 minutes to the city of Lanciano, 60 minutes to Pescara and 3 hours to Rome. The house is connected to water, electricity, gas and sewage.
