Lake Bomba to Pennadomo
I would like to say, a real insider tip, and worth the effort to find it. This is a quite spectacular road “Contrada Piana del Forno” with a mix of sheer cliff faces and turquoise lake shots, submerged in a sea of forest. Pennadomo is a small village built onto a plateaux surrounded by a sheer cliff. From there up high, it looks down onto Lake Bomba, surrounded by forests. At dusk the birds of pray glide over the lake then drop down to the water for fish. The road down towards the Lake has equally special places to stop and photograph from. LOCATION
