Why a property works online in Abruzzo Central Italy, and why
Article
Our 10 most visited properties online, and why!
I love the expression, “every jar has its own lid” and this is very pertinent for the property market where every house is just waiting to be adored by a buyer. Every buyer has their personal wish list for the budget they offer, and some houses seem to fit almost every potential buyer’s wish list. What is it that makes some houses more attractive than others? Let’s examine my top 10 most popular houses, and more importantly, why!
10. Smile at the camera
What a difference a photo can make! Swimming pools are attractive, and this house is a finished, 4 bedroom house, detached of course, just outside the town. But, what really grabs the crowd is that photo, a pool with a mountain backdrop. You can really feel yourself jumping in to avoid the summer heat.
9. Italian Charm
There is a definite draw to that original
Italian charm, and character, so when you read hot words like “stone
house”, “original character” and with “3 bedrooms”, it grabs your
attention. When the price is so low, Euro 15,000, you just know there is
a deal to be had.
8. Lots of Land
Large quantities of land at the right price
is a big attraction. This country house has a hectare included (that’s
over 2 aches), close to Lanciano with great mountain views and 5
bedrooms. There are also those open views that you just can't get enough
of.
7. Unique views
Then you have those views, those views that
are unique. A thick, green forest, running down the mountain and hills
and at the bottom of the valley a blue lake. To make the most of the
view, this property has even built a huge sun terrace facing the lake.
When you have views of this quality, the property holds its value.
6. Talk of the Town
There are a lot of factors supporting the success of this cottage. It has the views, detached, 5 bedrooms, garden and the town also attracts interest. Some towns are sort after, Palombaro, Casoli, Lanciano are very popular locations. The property also has a stone structure at an amazing price.
5. The price is right
If you had any doubts about the importance of price, this very popular town house is attractive for the price. It has character and size, and attracts a lot of traffic because the price is incredible. It is also located in a popular town close to the beach. Where can you go wrong!
4. No Stairs
The bungalow style of property in Italy is
quite rare and if you are a little older, with those weak knees, this
can be a preferred option. A bungalow is a house built of one, ground
floor so there are no stairs. This bungalow offers a character full
house in a sort after location with plenty of land and the rights to
build a second house how you want it. There is also a view reaching down
the green valley to the sea.
3. Land in Town
A town house with a hectare of land! The
dream, which many buyers consider unreachable, is a town house with a
lot of land and privacy and walking distance to town. It has 5 bedrooms,
2 big terraces and in good condition. Something quite unusual is that
the property is split into 2 apartments and easy to re-connect, meaning
the market for buyers looking for rentable units is also going to be
interested. This property interests so many markets especially the
“under Euro 80,000” budget market. Sounds like we have a deal on the
way!
2. Original Character
Perhaps the most photogenic property on the
market, an absolutely beautiful example of a 1900s farmhouse with a
mountain backdrop. It represents a unique example of this era with an
old brick structure, cute patterns around the French windows and aligned
doors and windows. It makes clients want to discover more information
and as you look further the original character just shines through. A
renovation of this property needs to respect this fantastic character to
help maintain its market value and once more underlines the importance
of that first photo
Number 1
From the outside it has a cute appearance of a real Italian cottage from 100 years ago and situated in a peaceful and picturesque spot, with a fantastic lake view. The structure is mainly old stone, and you feel like you are travelling back in time to a long ago era, yet 500 meters away is a village, and 2km away is a fantastic lake view restaurant, one of my favourites too. This property is cute to view, and looks even better on paper, detached, garden and 2 bedrooms, it is even habitable. When you see the price you realise why this property is so popular, Euro 15,000.
